Tailenders and Affirmations When Using EFT ... - Health and Fitness

You?ve apparently become more aware of affirmations because the movie The Secret became a hit. Affirmations are express statements said in the present tense to convey about powerful changes in a person?s life. Affirmations can be around changes you wish to see on a physical level; like as weight, how you wish to live your life; like as diet and exercise, or vacations, financial success; such as how much you wish to earn on an yearly basis, or how many rental properties you?d like to own. More people have affirmations of a spiritual world, others are about motivation.

Over the years I hold seen some people make vast changes in their lives once starting to use affirmations. Through others, I?ve seen them give up on their dreams as unfortunately their affirmations harbor?t come to fruition. So why would affirmations act for some and not others?

Gary Craig and Donna Eden interpret how this can be so in the book The Promise of Energy Psychology; they direct to them as tailenders. What they are referring to are affirmations that are settled and then quickly followed by that small voice inside of you that denies that the affirmations could at any time come true. An example of this is a mistress called Susan who has an affirmation that says ?I luckily weigh 60 kg?. This is speedily followed by her inner voice saying ?Don?t be ludicrous Susan you?ll never lose that abundant weight, after all, your mother is fat and so are your siblings. In other language the belief that Susan is holding in her subconscious is that she power of determination always remain fat because its heredity.

So how do we vary the belief? By using EFT Tapping to tap on the ?tailender.? A fit tapping phrase for the above example could be;

?Smooth though I?m convinced I?ll always be fat because the fact is my mother and siblings are fat so therefore I always power of determination be, I choose to weigh 60 kilograms?

If you are not having issue with some of your affirmations examine the possibilities of what your subconscious believing around it could be. Say the affirmation out loud and at that time listen to anything your inner spoken sound says afterwards. That will be your ball of thread. Then tap the old belief away and step back and wait for the results!

Affirmations can be extremely mighty ? just remove the tailender first. Try using EFT tapping and affirmations combined in distinct areas of your life and see your life vary for the better.
