It Is All About Your Heart | Revolution Flame

Heart Diseases and PreventionBelieve it!
When it comes to heart, it comes to a healthy YOU, your healthy body, your happy life and your sound soul. So seems like that it all ends on Heart when it?s the matter of a Healthy Individual.
As the saying goes
?A cheerful heart is good medicine?

To shed light on the importance of this crucial organ, related diseases and cures, World Heart Day is observed globally on 29th of September. It was created in the year 2000 to inform people around the globe that heart diseases and strokes are the world?s leading cause of death, claiming 17.3 million lives each year and the numbers are rising. Major causes for cardiovascular diseases include poor eating habits, lifestyle and lack of exercise. Some people think they are genetically predisposed to heart diseases but experts says actually its the lifestyle which is the causative agent.By 2030, it is expected that 23 million people will die from CVDs annually ? that is more than the population of Australia!

Precautionary measures comprise of a long list but major ones include proper eating habits, avoiding starchy foods, taking plenty of vegetables and fresh fruits, regular exercise, taking proper sleep, keeping proper body weight, avoid smoking, keeping a check on blood pressure, maintaining sugar and?cholesterol?levels and saying a big NO to meat although one can include a proper portion of it into the diet chart. In short, one should observe a healthy life style with a proper balanced diet and regular work out.

On World Heart Day, World Heart Federation with its members,?spreads the news that at least 80% of premature deaths from heart disease and stroke could be avoided if the main risk factors, tobacco, unhealthy diet and physical inactivity are controlled. Cardiovascular Disease is commonly considered an old person?s or man?s disease. Women underestimate their CVD risk; even though almost half of the 17.3 million annual deaths occur in women. Children are particularly at risk, since they have little control over their environment and can be limited in choices to live heart healthily. Unless action is taken to enable heart-?healthy activity, the children of today are at increased CVD risk later in life.

National activities such as public talks, screenings, walks, runs, concerts or sporting events are organized worldwide by members and partners of the World Heart Federation. WHO report Global atlas on cardiovascular disease prevention and control states that cardiovascular disease (CVDs) are the leading causes of death and disability in the world. Although a large proportion of CVDs is preventable, they continue to rise mainly because preventive measures are inadequate.
Thus, it is well said,?If you want a happy life, you would need a healthy heart?
So, its the time to check, how?s your key to a healthy life working. A healthy heart of today will surely lead you to a happy life tomorrow. Living a sound life with a healthy heart and normal body is indeed a blessing. After all its the matter of your heart. The key to your fitness, your health, your happiness and above all a peaceful YOU.
